CRPS

• CRPS is a chronic neuropathic pain state involving arm or leg that usually develops after Injury or Surgery. This is also called Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy.
• Symptoms are usually 1) Changes in Skin Temperature 2) Changes in Skin Color 3) Burning pain 4) Swelling of the painful area 5) Decreased ability to move the affected body part
• This Condition occurs because of malfunction In Sympathetic Nervous System and Immune System.
• The Treatment involves sensory oriented diagnostic approach to individualize therapy for each patient. This includes combination of Neuropathic medications, Sympatholytic blocks, Neuromodulation & CBT.
